Oh, the cursed wind of summer -- she is moist and icky, and now, I am moist and icky too.
The sound, the lights, and the movements however, are bright and joyous.
Did I mention summer smells good? There is no better season for festivals than that of 夏 natsu.

Most images were captured on the weekend my family came over. We learnt that visiting should be off limits for summer, because nobody was happy in the heat unless we were dancing or stuffing our faces with anything, anything cold! Well, well, well....
Dancing is 99.9% not my thing - the 0.1% is reserved for Bon Odori.

Note: I am 100% not a professional film firework photographer.
Also, fireworks take up the other 50% of summer festival excitement. Have you seen doraemon fireworks? Fireworks in the shape of ribbons, frogs, food? Well, I have now. Welcome to the summer festival season.
