An island less than two hours away from Tokyo, Okinawa did not feel like Japan in many ways.
For one, she was near the equator.
The weekend before, I put on three layers despite the sun;
the weekend after, there was snow hitting on my face.

While in Okinawa, the weather was a cozy, warm hug in the day at temperatures of about 25 degrees celsius, and slightly more chilly at 19 by dawn. It was a nice escape from the busyness of Tokyo life,
to just enjoy what nature had to offer (and stuff our faces with good food, as usual).

Kado-chan and I don't get to meet very often, since she is in Kansai usually.
It is always a blessing to have time together!
